Nika + Dropbox Integration

Nika does not yet connect to Dropbox. What works today: the Google Drive integration reads invoice PDFs from a Drive folder, and the Gmail and Outlook integrations cover emailed invoices. A Dropbox folder-watching integration — identical in capability to the Google Drive one — is on the roadmap. We say plainly: it is not live yet.

What this does

When it ships, the Dropbox integration will mirror the Google Drive one: you designate a Dropbox folder, Nika watches it, and every invoice PDF dropped there is extracted — vendor, invoice number, dates, line items, tax, totals — and presented for review. Until then, Dropbox users can upload PDFs directly into the Nika dashboard or use the Google Drive integration as an alternative folder source.

Data flow

Today: Dropbox is not supported. Alternative: download PDFs from Dropbox → upload to Nika dashboard manually, or move them to a connected Google Drive folder. Planned: Dropbox folder → Nika detects new PDF → extracts data → review → export.

Setup

    Use Google Drive as a temporary alternative

    The Google Drive integration is live and works identically. If you can route invoices through a Drive folder instead of Dropbox, that works today.

    Or upload PDFs directly to Nika

    Download invoices from Dropbox and upload them into the Nika dashboard. Manual, but functional until the Dropbox integration ships.

    Join the waitlist for Dropbox

    Sign up to be notified when the Dropbox folder integration launches. We will reach out the moment it is live.

    Future: connect Dropbox directly

    When the integration ships, designate a Dropbox folder, connect via OAuth, and Nika processes new PDFs automatically — same workflow as Google Drive.

Limitations

  • No live Dropbox connection — this integration is not yet built.
  • Until it ships, Dropbox users must either upload PDFs manually to the Nika dashboard or use the Google Drive integration as a folder source.
  • No timeline commitment beyond "on the roadmap" — we will not promise a date we cannot keep.

Works best with

Teams whose invoices already live in Dropbox and want folder-watching automation. Until the integration ships, the workaround (manual upload or Google Drive) suits low-to-moderate invoice volumes. For high-volume Dropbox workflows, join the waitlist.
