AI for Bank Reconciliation Automation
AI for bank reconciliation matches each transaction on your bank statement to the corresponding entry in your ledger — supplier payment, customer receipt, bank fee, transfer — and flags only the lines it cannot match. Nika reads the statement as it arrives, clears matched transactions automatically, and presents exceptions for review, from $0.40 per matched transaction with no monthly minimum.
Stop ticking off transactions one by one. Nika reads the bank statement, matches each line to a ledger entry, and leaves only the genuine exceptions for you.
Bank reconciliation is the monthly ritual of confirming that every penny in and out of the bank matches what your books say. Done by hand, it means opening the statement, finding each transaction, finding the matching ledger entry, and ticking them off — dozens or hundreds of times. The tedious part is the matching; the valuable part is finding the handful of genuine exceptions buried in the pile.
Nika reads the bank statement the moment it is available, matches each transaction to a ledger entry by amount, date, reference and supplier or customer, and clears the match. What reaches you is a short list of unmatched lines — an unknown payee, a duplicate transfer, a fee you have not categorised yet. You resolve the exceptions; she handles the rest.
How Nika does this
- Nika reads your bank statement as soon as it arrives — imported or downloaded.
- She matches each transaction to a ledger entry by amount, date, reference and counterparty.
- Matched transactions are cleared automatically; unmatched lines go to a short exceptions queue for your review.
Questions
Does Nika connect to my bank directly?
Nika reads bank statements you provide — exported CSV, PDF, or a file from your banking integration. She does not log into your bank or initiate transactions. If you have an existing bank-feed integration that exports statements, she reads those files. If you are unsure, tell us how you export today and we will confirm.
What happens to transactions Nika cannot match?
They are never forced. Unmatched transactions go to an exceptions queue with the amount, date, counterparty and the reason Nika could not find a match — for example, no ledger entry exists yet, or the amount differs by a small margin. You decide whether to create, correct or investigate. You are not charged for matched transactions she gets wrong.
