How well does Nika read photographed paper receipts?
Standard printed receipts — POS terminals, shop receipts, restaurant bills — are read reliably, including merchant, date, total and often the tax breakdown. Handwritten receipts, heavily faded thermal paper, or receipts photographed at a poor angle may go to the review queue. A clear, well-lit photo resolves the majority of cases.
Does Nika handle receipts in foreign currencies?
Yes. Nika reads the currency shown on the receipt and records the amount and currency as stated. She does not perform the currency conversion for your books — your accounting system applies the exchange rate at the transaction date or period average, as configured.
