How do I hire an AI employee?
Hiring an AI employee is three steps: pick the role, grant the two accesses it needs, and prepay a small balance. Today the only live role is Nika, a bookkeeping assistant — the other twelve roles are waitlist-only. For Nika the two accesses are her own mailbox for invoices and the folder or spreadsheet where your records live.
The hiring model is deliberately the same shape as hiring a person: a name, one job, and only the tools that job needs. You do not install or configure software — you grant access the way you would give a new employee a key. The employee page names the two accesses in plain language and the hire flow walks through them.
A small prepaid balance — from the minimum top-up — funds the work. At zero, Nika pauses and queues incoming items for seven days; she never overdrafts. Fire her anytime: access is revoked the same minute and the remaining balance is refunded. The full reasoning is on the why page.

Do I need technical skills to hire an AI employee?
No. Managing one is like managing a person, not like operating software: forward mail to a mailbox, answer approval questions, and read a daily plain-language report.
Can I hire an AI employee for a role that is waitlist-only?
Not yet. The waitlist roles are listed on the team page and take your interest; they are not working until they go live. Nika, the bookkeeping assistant, is the only role you can hire today.
