Is my business data safe with an AI employee?

Yes, by design: documents are processed and stored in the EU and are never used to train AI models. Each AI employee gets access to only the two things the job needs — for Nika, the invoice mailbox and the folder or spreadsheet where your records live — and access is revoked the same minute you stop the employee.

The access model is the core of the safety design. An AI employee does not browse your business — it is given exactly two accesses, named in plain language on the employee page, and nothing else. Hard rules apply on top: never send money, never delete anything, never act on an unclear case without confirmation.

The why page documents the guarantees: EU data residency, no training on your documents, revoked access on termination, and a published error-compensation policy. If you want the technical shape of the data layer, the Cost of Work dataset and its API are open about how the service is built.

Where is my data stored?

Documents are processed and stored in the EU. The service runs on EU infrastructure, and the data residency choice is documented on the why page.

Is my data used to train AI models?

No. Documents and records are never used to train AI models. That is a published guarantee, not a fine-print clause.
